It’s the most wonderful time of the year and Queensland’s newest market experience, Distillery Road Market, is putting on a jolly, event-filled December.
In collaboration with BrisStyle, DRM hosts their first-ever Christmas market pop-up on Saturday, December 4, from 4pm – 9pm, filled with everything from Christmas gifts and stocking fillers to delicious seasonal-inspired food and drink.
With over 40 local stallholders, there really will be something for everyone, from vintage-inspired goods by My Vintage Thimble and The Vintage Island, to jewellery and homewares by With Love Crystals, Bow Keep, and Done By Daisy.
For the green thumbs, Mad Plant Ladies will be set up with some of the best greenery in town, and Bath Stuff will be showcasing their sweet scents and your must-have beauty products for this season.
“We are proud to support local and showcase an ethical, sustainable Christmas this year – we’re taking the gift of handmade to a whole new level!” said Kenton Campbell, founder of Distillery Road Market.
It’s not only the Christmas Market that will be transforming DRM this month, as the buzzing Logan destination also hosts their signature ‘Trucks & Tunes’ market events every Friday and Saturday night from 4pm – 9pm.
“It’s a market experience to treat all of your senses with local food trucks serving up some of the best street food and drink in town, and an impressive line-up of south east’s musical talent takes to the stage to entertain you and your family all night long,” said Mr Campbell.
The likes of Eleea, Chloe Behrens, and Kent Tonscheck will be performing at the precinct’s Trucks & Tunes or Sugar Creek Smokehouse, as the destination heats up this December.
Alongside local musical talent, guests will experience delicious food cuisines from around the world every Friday & Saturday night right up until December 18; enjoying a collection of authentic vendors, including Brat Haus, Shack Shuka, That Gelato Truck, Vagabond Foods, to name a few.
Little ones will also have a blast at DRM with colourful vendors set up to entertain, excite and challenge the whole family with carnival and amusement games.
DRM’s resident food outlets, Sugar Creek Smokehouse, Posadas, and Kiwanda Café will be serving up their delicious fare, including exceptional coffee and kitchen treats, divine meaty goods and Mexican delights, for all to enjoy.
