The Gold Coast’s premier comedy extravaganza, GC Laughs Festival, is back – bigger, bolder and funnier than ever before with a whopping line-up of 40 shows to have you doubled over in laughter when it returns to HOTA, Home of the Arts early next year.
Promising two weeks of laugh-out-loud hilarity, the GC Laughs Festival 2024 will boast a staggering bill of the best in comedy from March 15 – 23.

In its sixth year, Festival Director Josh Armstrong promised the Gold Coast’s only comedy festival would be more outrageous than ever before.
“It’s unbelievable that we kicked off our first festival at HOTA back in 2019 and it’s clear that Gold Coast audiences love a laugh, with every year we keep adding to our line up and GC Laughs keeps getting better,” Mr Armstrong said.
“We’ve been able to bring some of the biggest Australian and international names in comedy to the Coast, and in 2024 we have 37 acts already locked in with plenty more to be revealed so stay tuned for more!”
“There are still several surprises up our sleeves, with special international acts, along with the GC Laughs Gala host, and the Up Late shows all set to be revealed in the new year.”
